Trek - Kaghan Valley & Nanga Parbat – Stunning south views of Nanga Parbat
In the backdrop of Kashmir Kaghan valley and Nanga Parbat treks offer a wonderful opportunity for hikers and trekkers in search of flora and fauna. Our first part of the trekking sprint starts at exploring the side valley leading to Dudipatsar Lake offers some grand moments of looking at the grand flora of Kaghan valley. The second part covers Deosai with short day hikes to discover the flora and fauna stunning views of this great mountain remains a legend among the climbing world.
Itineraries
Day 01: Arrive Islamabad
Meeting on arrival assistance and transfer to hotel. In the afternoon orientation tour of Islamabad.
Day 02: Islamabad – Kaghan Valley – Battakundi – 298 kms – (2624m)
Morning leave for alpine Kaghan valley – many photogenic stops enroute we shall arrival in the late afternoon with wonderful views all around transfer to local guest house time permitting we shall have short hike around our guest house to acclimatize.

Day 03: Battakundi – start trek to Dudipatsar lake
Battakundi – Besal – 30 kms – (3260m) – Besal – Mulla ki Basti – Trek – 5/6 hrs – 12 kms - Total trek 16 kms
After breakfast we shall wrap our gear and drive for another 30 kms to Besal Shepherd camp. Here we then follow the stream on a desolate track used by local herdsmen – we might see some of these Gujar ethnic nomads with their tents and animals. Ater a short hike we shall cross the swift stream over a a buggy bridge. The terrain is normal walk with gradual rise of about 400-500m from Besal. Crossing low and fast streams requires good physique aand water proof boots or cross low streams bare foot. On arrival at the meadows camp – o/n tents.

Day 04: Dudipatsar – return to Besal camp
Mulla ki Basti – Dudipatsar Lake – Trek 2 – 1/2 hrs – 2 kms – (3900m) - Dudipatsar – Besal – 8 hrs
Early morning start hike to the lake now you have covered the exhaustive part of the trek and the hike to Dudupatsar Lake will be much easier and calmer after spending couple of hours at the lake start descending back to Basti and continue down to Besal – o/n tents.

Day 05: Astore valley – Rama Lake Meadows
Besal – Babusar Pass – Astore – Rama – 175 kms – 6 hrs drive
Morning we shall start our drive to Astore valley – soon after leaving Besal we shall drive past. Lake Lulusar and gradually climb up to Babusar Pass(4137m) in the village and drie past Chilas town onto Karakoram Highway. Few gentle stops enroute with short views of Nanga Parbat peak. Enter into Astore valley after re-crossing Indus river follow Astore river to Astore village to Rama Meadows and transfer to local guest house.

Today we shall drive up the beautiful Deosai National Park is high altitude plain rich in flora and fauna drive to descend across into Sadpara to Skardu. After a brief rest we shall proceed to Khaplu – arrival and transfer to hotel.

Day 07: Hushe village excursion – Masherbrum peak views
Khaplu – Hushe – Khaplu
Day excursion to Hushe – beautiful Machlu village to Hushe with views of Masherbrum. Later return to Khaplu – visit Chaqchan Mosque.

Day 08: Khaplu – Shiger – the grand mosque – Skardu
